Asif Ali – The late Asif Ali along with his father started a business in Gujranwala under the name of Sharif Engineering to manufacture dough processing machinery and commercial kitchen equipment. This was in 1960, when there were not many talented professionals in the field but even then, Asif Ali and his father Mr. Sharif were considered as one of the most capable experts in their field. Asif Ali was the first engineer to build a Roti Plant in Pakistan. Under the tutelage of Asif Ali, his two sons acquired engineering skills so that they could carry on their father's business in the future and create more innovations in it.
